Turn a Spreadsheet Report into an Explainer Video

A workbook can contain every figure and still leave the audience unsure what changed. Start with the decision, comparison, threshold, or trend that matters; keep the workbook available for the full numbers.
Lead with the decision, not the cells
A spreadsheet-to-explainer video should not reproduce a sheet tab by tab. It should help a viewer understand the one comparison or change that affects the next decision. State the period, unit, baseline, and source before showing a conclusion.

Use one relationship per visual beat
Show a trend before explaining its likely implication. Show a comparison before naming the preferred route. If the source includes several metrics, put them in the order the decision needs them rather than the order the columns happen to use. Keep formulas, raw data, and complete tables in the workbook for review.
