Một video đào tạo nên làm cho quyết định đúng đắn dễ dàng hơn tại thời điểm làm việc. Nó không nên ẩn các điều kiện, ngoại lệ, hoặc nguồn nhân dân cần được tư vấn.

Use this before turning an SOP into training

Copy this checklist into the team workspace before you create a walkthrough. It is deliberately focused on one repeatable job: a clear trigger, an intended result, and the moments where the normal route must stop or hand off.

1. Define the learning job

  • Viewer role: ______________________________
  • After viewing, they should be able to: ______________________________
  • When they should use this walkthrough: ______________________________
  • Prerequisite knowledge, equipment, or permission: ______________________________
  • What this walkthrough must not be used to decide: ______________________________

2. Identify the current source

Check Write it down
SOP, checklist, or work-instruction title
Current version or date
Source owner
Related job aid or controlled document
Location of access-controlled or versioned details
Video version and the exact source version it explains
Named reviewer, approval date, and next review date
Who may authorise restart after a stop or exception
Handoff recipient and required receipt or acknowledgement

3. Preserve the non-negotiable information

  • [ ] Required order of actions
  • [ ] Visible preconditions, warnings, or quality checks
  • [ ] Numbers, thresholds, units, dates, and terms the viewer must recognize
  • [ ] A stop condition before an irreversible action
  • [ ] An exception or escalation route
  • [ ] Required evidence, record, or handoff
  • [ ] A link or reference back to the current source

4. Storyboard the decision path

Beat What the viewer sees Decision or action Evidence to preserve Next owner
Trigger The cue, role, and scope When does this task start?
First check The condition that makes it safe to proceed Can work continue?
Normal path The expected sequence What changes next?
Stop or exception The condition that changes the route Pause, correct, or escalate?
Handoff The evidence and responsible role Who owns the next decision?
Confirmation The expected result and source reference How is completion confirmed?

5. Review before sharing

The team should compare the explanation with the current source. Check that the sequence is readable, exceptions are not hidden, labels and charts are legible, and the viewer can find the source for detailed or controlled information. The video does not replace the controlled SOP or the responsible person's approval.

  • Update trigger: a source revision, equipment or process change, new threshold, incident, changed owner, or revised escalation route.
  • Action on an outdated video: the source owner marks it as superseded or withdraws it, identifies the changed segments, and assigns a reviewer before the replacement is used.
  • Handoff check: confirm that the next owner received the required record and knows who can authorise restart. Sending a link alone does not confirm acceptance.
