Quickstart

Connect KPainter Skill to your agent, then create a first result.

1. Install

npx skills add OriginwiseAI/skills

openclaw skills install kpainter

Read https://kpainter.ai/skill.md, follow its setup and usage instructions, and help me connect my KPainter account and API key.

2. Connect Your Account

1. Sign up or sign in to KPainter.
2. Open the API Key page.
3. Activate and copy your key.
4. Add it to your agent's trusted connection settings.

Do not paste the key into an unrelated service or public conversation.

3. Make a First Request

Try one of these:

• Turn this handbook into a 1–3 minute employee-training Explainer Video.
• Create a cover image for an MCP beginner course.
• Build an interactive quiz that helps students understand MCP.

4. Add Useful Context

The agent may ask for:

• the audience
• output language
• target duration or aspect ratio
• visual direction or tone
• source files or a webpage
• facts and terminology that must remain exact

If the request is already clear, it should create first rather than asking unnecessary questions.

5. Follow Progress

Creation is asynchronous. Your agent should report:

• the current status and progress
• ETA when KPainter can estimate it reliably
• estimated credits when available
• the final output link after completion
• a clear recovery step when a task is paused

6. Refine the Result

For a completed Explainer Video, you can say:

• Make the second scene easier for a new employee.
• Keep the structure and use a more professional tone.
• Shorten the explanation without removing the safety steps.

AI Image and AI App are recreated when the current capabilities do not offer a conversational edit path.

Notes

• Video settings, image models, templates, styles, and voices come from current capabilities.
• Files and webpages are sources, not output types.
• Only Explainer Video currently reads webpage URLs directly.
• If the intended result is unclear, the agent asks one short question before creating.
